		DANCON is short for Danish Contingent and the march has been a tradition with the Danish Army since 1972 when they were deployed on Cyprus.
		The normal peace and quiet of the area around Doboj was further punctuated by the sounds of the 1st Peacekeeping Russian Separate Airborne Brigade (1st PRSAB) Band as a steady stream of buses, trucks and other military vehicles arrived carrying more and more participants for the days event.
		The Danish Army sends it’s soldiers to Bosnia on six month rotations and the May 13th event was the third and final DANCON March held by this rotation.
