Robertson,Lapin Discusss the Influence of Secular Liberalism
Lapin: Well, for a start I said that it was really very exciting and very significant that in a week on which he spent Monday meeting with Capitol Hill leaders, and Tuesday he spent at the White House with the president and the vice president, that Wednesday he spent with a group of religious leaders.
Lapin: I would like to see him level the playing field and eliminate the mood that's been inflicted on America that the struggle in America is between an aggressive dangerous Christian theocracy and a benign secularism that's good for everybody.
Lapin: Because I know that this country, America is a country that has provided the most tranquil and prosperous haven for Jews in the last 2,000 years and I know that that's not in spite of America being a Christian nation, but it's precisely because America is a Christian nation.

Daniel Lapin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daniel Lapin (born 1950?) is a political commentator and American Orthodox rabbi living in Mercer Island, Washington, and the founder of Toward Tradition (a conservative Jewish-Christian organization).
Lapin's teachings are also aligned with Modern Orthodox Judaism, in that while he promotes observant Judaism, he is strongly in favor of observant Jews having interaction with other faith communities (in his view, mostly conservative and observant Christian communities) and broader political action outside of Judaism.
Lapin was one of the Jewish voices in support of Mel Gibson's movie The Passion of the Christ, and was a strong supporter of the efforts by Terri Schiavo's parents to keep their daughter alive.

America's Real War - by Rabbi Daniel Lapin
Lapin leads the reader to see how ideas like personal accountability and private property create incentives for people to use their God-given talents to get ahead by serving the needs of others.
At the same time, Lapin shows that the causes of the political left - like abortion and opposition to capital punishment - are logically inconsistent, and that the sole idea uniting today's jackboot liberals is opposition to God's ideas revealed in the Torah and Bible.
Rabbi Lapin's organization, Toward Tradition, is America's leading bridge-builder between Jewish and Christian communities; spanning the divide between Christians and Jews by sculpting ancient solutions to modern problems in areas of family, faith, and fortune.

By the time he was on television last week, he was sort of withdrawing that, and I think he's realizing, as hes losing more and more support within the Jewish community, that he went way over the line and was completely incorrect on all of this.

BOOKS: Rabbi's defence of the Judeo-Christian culture, Rabbi Daniel Lapin - 26 February 2000
Rabbi Daniel Lapin's book is a call to arms, addressed to the Jewish community in America, to recognise that the moral and ethical foundations of the United States are under attack by secular humanism, and to make common cause with Christians to resist the process.
Daniel Lapin examines, in detail, a number of issues which define the cultural divide in America, and in them, his treatment is masterly - though I suspect that those who disagree with the rabbi will gnash their teeth in resentment and frustration.

blatherWatch: Rabbi Daniel Lapin: show rabbi of the racists
Lapin's arrogant sense of superiority and "chosenness" is not unlike that of the mid-20th century South African Dutch Reformed Church whose retributive, racist, and self-righteous world-view enslaved millions of people and provided the sociopolitical framework of his formative years.
As we dug deeper into Lapin's past, there's something darker than mere far-right Republican politics- there's a pattern of recurring disdain for anything in the 3rd World- especially that inhabited by dark-skinned "idiots," "troglodytes," or "morons," as his friend and cohort Jack Abramoff called the Native Americans he was shaking down.
Lapin continued: The sad fact is that through Jewish actors, playwrights, and producers, the Berlin stage of Weimar Germany linked Jews and deviant sexuality in all its sordid manifestations just as surely as Broadway does today.
