DanielStewartThomasBinghamDixon, 2ndBaronGlentoran, KBE (January 19, 1912) - (July 22, 1995) was born the son of Herbert Dixon, 1st BaronGlentoran, in 1912.
He served with the Grenadier Guards in the Second World War, for which he was mentioned in dispatches, and in 1950 succeeded his father as second BaronGlentoran as well as member for Belfast Bloomfield in the Northern Ireland House of Commons.
Appointed KBE in 1973, Lord Glentoran was also Lord Lieutenant (and from 1950-1976 Lieutenant) for Belfast from 1976 to 1985.
She married Major Sir Thomas Robin Valerian Dixon, 3rd BaronGlentoran, son of Colonel DanielStewartThomasBinghamDixon, 2ndBaronGlentoran and Lady Diana Mary Wellesley, on 12 January 1959.
Clare Rosalind Dixon was born on 15 November 1937.
