Having left MOLLY HATCHET following a dispute with the band's management, although the official reason was given as Danny Joe Brown's diabetes problems made it impossible for him to continue in the group, the vocalist put his own group together, roping in guitarist Bobby Ingram into the fold.
The DANNY JOE BROWN BAND was a pretty short-term affair as, before too long, Brown was invited back into the MOLLY HATCHET ranks, making his comeback on 1983's 'No Guts...No Glory' record, after they'd recorded two albums with his replacement Jimmy Farrar.
