Daniel Fergus "Danny" McGrain (born in Glasgow May 1, 1950) is a former professional footballer who played for Celtic F.C. in defence.
In both, McGrain (a Protestant) told how he had been spotted by a Rangers scout when he was still a boy, but the team refused to sign him, assuming he was a Catholic because of his name.
