Daphne Duck is a fictional character, presented in Walt Disney's comic books.
According to Don Rosa's story "The Sign of The Triple Distelfink", she is the daughter of Humperdink Duck and Elvira Coot.
The child was born on her birthday and under the protection of the same symbol as his mother.

The surname "Coot" had been used on several ducks by various artists, usually for characters who were relatives of Donald Duck but weren't Ducks or McDucks.
When Don Rosa created his Duck Family Tree in 1993, he included the Coots used by Carl Barks and himself as Grandma Duck's family are descendants of Cornelius Coot.
She married Humperdink Duck and had three children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren - see the Duck family article for more information.

Eider Duck was not included in Carl Barks' Duck Family Tree even though Barks already had mentioned him in a story where he sent Donald a falcon.
Sometime after 1902 Eider Duck married Lulubelle Loon and had one son "Abner 'Whitewater' Duck" (Don Rosa says that Fethry Duck don't belong in Barks' and his universe, and thus Don Rosa don't regard him as a son of Eider Duck).
Where ever Eider Duck and his family are living it is not in Duckburg., because once (in 1944) sent a falcon to his nephew Donald, by postage.
