Tim and Daphne Reid's Virginia hideaway. - Encyclopedia.com   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-26)
Since moving to this rural haven where privacy is respected and Southern gentility still persists, Tim and Daphne both say life on a "gentleman's farm" (not a working farm with crops) has changed their priorities so much that the things that were important to them two years ago aren't on their priority lists today.
Daphne, on the other hand, continues to perfect her skills as a top-notch seamstress, spending hours at a time in the small room that houses her sewing equipment.
So, as it turns out, the Reids' move to an area that was primarily known as the home of Thomas Jefferson offers them a double benefit--the opportunity to enjoy the rustic splendor of Virginia and, at the same time, they can continue to dabble in business and entertainment.
