		I really liked the band, it has a little bit more modern influences, we had some real downtuned stuff, it was tuned a couple of steps lower than what we used to play in Dark Angel.
		Basically at that point the band was using a manager named Paul Schenker, and we had gotten it touch with him because we were hoping that he was a better connected manager than the one we had before, and he would take the band up a few notches.
		I think a band like Dark Angel is an underground thrash metal band and people probably just left it that way regardless of the song, so it didn't quite turn out as well as we thought.

		I agree with a lot of things said in the article, especially what they wrote about Evanescence being a breakthrough band who paved the way for other female-fronted bands to reach their audiences.
		But I identify more with the statement that after listening to Evanescence, ppl are more willing to listen to other bands (though some may have more seniority in the field).
		That's my case with the band Nightwish: I remember hearing about them in 2000 by someone I went to school with, but I didn't listen to any of their songs.
