	Dark Archon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Dark Archons are Protoss psionic entitys present in the fictional StarCraft universe.
		The creation of Dark Archons was allowed after the Protoss who follow the Khala came to Shakuras, the Dark Templar homeworld.
		It is formed by the merging of two Dark Templar, in a manner similar to the formation of the Protoss Archon.

		One fully charged unupgraded Dark Archon can kill 4 high templars with quick click and pushing F. And if the feedback doesn't kill the HT, its storm is taken away from that battle because its energy is drained.
		Dark Archons cost 300 minerals and 200 vespene, and are very easily popped by Dragoons.
		Dark Archons need to get close, by which time the High Templar would have already spent their energy and the feedback might not even kill it, assuming you can get it off before the enemy's dragoons pop your Dark Archon in.7 seconds etc etc.

		Dark archons are rarely seen anyways, they're still cool and powerful when used correctly.
		so yes i have used dark archons to my advnatage in more than 1 circumstance, but the point is they arent worth wasting the dts that could be patrolling the other two mains (much more worth it than wasting them for something you dont need to battle muta).
		another good use of dark archon is vs hydra drops, ultra drops, ling drops, any type of drops...
