		I was sufficiently impressed at that time to realize that Dark Moor had the goods to separate themselves from the multitude of average power metal bands that seemed to be proliferating with great intensity at that time.
		Dark Moor is Alfred Romero on lead and backing vocals, Enrik Garcia on guitars and backing vocals, Daniel Fernandez on bass, and Andy C. on drums.

		Dark Moor is still trying to find their niche with their new line-up and I really like the songs and the sound of this album but it just doesn't have enough killer tracks to give it a much higher score as an outstanding album.

		That said, Dark Moor fits pretty comfortably in what Steppenvvolf calls "elfes and wizards metal"; the band's particular penchants make me think "Disney metal" would be a better tag.
		Dark Moor's arrangements are quite well done, avoiding the cookie-cutter patterns that bands like Primal Fear employ without end.
		While Dark Moor's drummer is without a doubt skilled and does the job he is given perfectly well, the band relies primarily on only the few principle tried and true Euro power metal beats, without much variety.

		I had the pleasure to see Dark Moor on home turf a year and a half ago, and they stripped down the orchestra parts a bit and crushed as a twin guitar attack.
		Anyway, Dark Moor has found the right person for the job, and I am sure they will be able to present their full back catalogue in a successful way with Alfred centre stage.
		Though Dark Moor has released a fine record, it is not their best to date, in my always very humble opinion.

		Spain’s largest Metal act, Dark Moor, returns with their sixth full-length album, their second after the big departure, when half the band left and created a new band, Dreamaker, and among them one of Dark Moor’s largest hallmarks, the female vocalist Elisa C. Martin.
		Now Dark Moor is just a four-piece band, since the only remaining original member and band leader Enrik decided that he would be the only guitarist, and new bassist Daniel Fernandez joined.
		The new Dark Moor is still developing, and where it will end I don’t know, but as long Enrik goes on writing good songs and Alfred is singing as good as he does, I’m not afraid.

		It's well done, but the songs are a tad samey, and apart from being fronted by a female vocalist (the very capable Elisa Martin), there's not really a lot to distinguish Dark Moor from the many other bands playing this style -- at this juncture they have yet to forge a truly unique identity.
		Martin has since surfaced in Fairyland, while the remaining duo has recruited a new lineup and continues to flourish.

		In fact, everybody is important in the band an there is no place here for egocentrism or believing that we are important, we have always worked with humility and we are always willing to talk to our fans.
		Elisa has been in Dark moor for many years and in the beginning it was quite difficult for her because there were not many women in metal but I think that is really good that we leave prejudices behind, because a women can make metal music the sam or better than a man.

		And this side is something very interesting and has a very basic and natural feel, because it puts the song into the foreground, without any bombast or anything and which also shows that DARK MOOR is more than the epic Power Metal that they are known for.
		And in a song like "A Lament Of Misery" Elisa also shows us that she has a powerful voice that is a very nice change to the sopranos that we are treated with oh so often within the realms of Metal.
