| | William Darrell Johnson: A Tribute, Page 2 |
 | | I remembered that his first name was Darrell, simply because that is my brother's name (only my brother spells his differently), and I remembered that he was from North Carolina, but I couldn't for the life of me remember her POW's last name. |
 | | I obviously couldn't request the same POW simply by asking for a "Darrell", no matter the spelling, so my only request was to be given a POW/MIA from the same state in which I live, North Carolina. |
 | | I know I'm very fortunate to not have lost family members or friends in Viet Nam, or Korea, but as strange as it may seem to you as you read this, I feel as though I know W. Darrell Johnson, and I feel that he was a part of my life. |
