Although computer technology in the schools lags significantly behind those found in more modernized nations, the original DOS version of Dangerous Dave is often within the limits of what is playable.

Possibly one of John Romero's career launchers, Dangerous Dave is a bizarre VGA platform game where you guide Dave, of course, through Clyde's notorious hideout.
You don't have to necessarily pickup everything single thing in the level (some costing you a life), but the golden trophy is required as the key to exiting the stage.
In the end, Dangerous Dave is a funny game of frustrating proportions, but it ain't something that you wouldn't atleast take a few whacks at.

Dangerous Dave was the first game that I wrote a fully-fledged level editor for.
Dave's shape is made up of "lo-bit" colors only, that is: purple, green, white0, fl0.
When Dave encounters pixels that are "hi-bit" colors (red, blue, white1, fl1), I make his code change the way he moves so you can jump and jump and get higher instead of letting gravity pull you down.

Dave honed his tales along with his music, while holding court in cafes, bars, and from his apartment on Sheridan Square.

Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion (a.k.a Dave 2) is a sequel to original surprisingly successful Dangerous Dave.
A rather a-typical platform game, in Dave 2 you run through a huge mansion with many different levels, battling all kinds of monsters and collecting items (yes, mostly bonus points).
One of the things that make this game unique is that instead of just having a limited amount of ammunition, you have a shotgun and can shoot 8 bullets at any given time.
