Dave Abbruzzese, the god, joined the band in august 1991 and was fired in 1994 by Stone Gossard, but it was more like an Eddie Vedder decision, because he never really liked Dave A. Vedder felt that Abbruzzese wasn't good 'espiritually' for the band.

Perhaps Dave was better than Jack and Matt better than Dave.
