Dave Shea on Syndication @ Geof F. Morris’s Indiana Jones School of Management
Dave Shea does it again, this time effectively explaining RSS/Atom/Syndication in clear, easy-to-understand words.
People like Shea are the best at writing these types of things; designers who have to design good, solid interfaces are used to breaking down an idea into its elements and effectively using illustrations, words, and context cues to make the explanation.
Shea also makes a great point: “XML is the base technology both are built on, but that’s almost totally irrelevant; the orange buttons are mislabelled, and should read ‘RSS’ or ‘Atom’ instead.

Regardless of your opinion of Dave as an announcer, he was a true fl and golder.
Also, another thing he picked up from Cusick was that even though he was a Bruins fan--he would give the right amount of enthusiam to the the opposition's goal--especially if it was a pretty goal that's a good trait, IMO.
But I guess it didn't bother me too much as I can tend to follow the action on my own but I can understand why that is frustrating and/or unacceptable to others because it's the essence of the job to get that right.
