| | A Tribute to Davey Allison by Jo Ann Hlavac |
 | | Davey was born on the eve of Bobby's first Daytona 500. For some reason that seems appropriate. Davey raced cars in the Limited Sportsman events, NASCAR Grand American, ARCA, Busch Grand National, NASCAR Dash, All Pro, ASA, DIRT, Grand American and International Sedan (now DASH) then finally, Winston Cup. |
 | | Through sheer grit and determination Davey fought back to hold the points lead going into Atlanta for the finally race. He was taken out of the race early when he caught up by a spinning Ernie Irvin. Alan Kulwicki won the championship that year in what is probably the last championship for a driver/owner. |
 | | The citizens of Alabama created this park to honor their fallen son, Davey Allison. They induct drivers into the walk of fame every year, one retired and one active. |
