David Frank Bellotti (born August 13, 1943) is a politician and former chief executive of Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. August 13 is the 225th day of the year in the Gregorian Calendar (226th in leap years), with 140 days remaining.
David Bellotti won the parliamentary seat of Eastbourne for the Liberal Democrats in a 1990 by-election following the murder of Ian Gow MP by the IRA.
In May 2003 David Bellotti was elected councillor for Lyncombe ward on Bath and North East Somerset council.

Having imposed a two-point fine on us after yet another pitch invasion, the FA finally bowed to increasing pressure from fans and the media by agreeing to act as mediator in talks between supporters, the board and a new consortium reportedly interested in rescuing the club.
It was almost as though they got some perverse kick from all the hostility, revelling in the notoriety that issuing writs against law abiding supporters - or ignoring police advice to stay away from games - brought with it.
Archer and Bellotti may be history, but their legacy still burdens us.
