He is a politician who will work for regular folks and not just for the corporate elite currently in charge of the province.
Chudnovsky is a three-term president of the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation and a stalwart member of the civic party COPE.
Chudnovsky is bright enough to see the folly in this approach and would resist attempts to repeat these errors in the future.

 Joseph Planta's Commentary - thecommentary.ca
As for all of the candidates, to a person I was struck by their willingness to commit to serving.
The NDP has little chance of forming the government tonight, so Chudnovsky would have little chance of influencing the education policy of the province.
And the reason why I'm voting for Chudnovsky is this: we've seen how a lack of numbers on the opposition benches hinders the holding of the government's feet to the fire.

Call us old-fashioned, but we like our politicians scrappy, and this former community legal advocate is one hell of a scrapper.
Chudnovsky is vastly superior to Liberal Patrick Wong, who was a faceless backbencher, later a junior minister who organised meetings to protest a drug treatment centre in his riding.
Liberal Virginia Greene was impressively articulate and had a good track record as an assistant deputy minister in the 1980s, and was candid about the fact that the Liberals hadn’t lived up to the 2001 promises.

David was a longtime political and community activist, one of those people that we who sit in this place know are the backbone of the political process, an active New Democrat who volunteered in every capacity including many years as constituency president.
David was one of those people we are all proud to have known.
He was committed to social justice, to his family and to his community, and he was an inspiration in the manner in which he dealt with his illness with dignity and courage.

I've been especially puzzled by the vitriol thrown at David Chudnovsky, not only because he is a personal friend of mine but also because the detractors must be speaking from ignorance.
David was elected for three successive terms and, had he run for a (unprecedented) fourth would have been elected.
Two, most of your posts seem dedicated to the purpose of boosting David Chudnovsky, and nearly every mention of his name on these boards was originated by you.

It would be a shame if the BC Liberals and New Democrats mistake the moderation mantra for an excuse to play it safe with ideas and initiatives, just at the moment when British Columbia needs creative thinking to propel us beyond an outdated resource-dependent economy and an old-fashioned dichotomy between Big Business and Big Labour.
