David Allen Adkisson (July 221958 – February 101984) was an American professional wrestler famous under the ring name David Von Erich (of the famous Von Erich Family).
David was the second oldest wrestling son, and was the son whom some thought would win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

As I stated in another thread, my 9 year old son approached David with a WCW picture book from the late 90's that he was using for his autos for the weekend and David gladly signed the book with no questions asked.
From what I've gathered talking to Ric and David personally and other convention promoters who have tried to get Ric to come to their event, I doubt we'll ever see Ric at any of these conventions, so if Dave can offer fans Ric's items, so be it and Ole needs to move on.
