David Forsyth (born September 18, 1947) is a well-known American soap opera actor.
David Forsyth was given two popular soap opera roles to play in rapid succession: Hogan McCleary on Search for Tomorrow (1983-1986) and John Hudson on Another World (1987-1997).
He succeeded Roscoe Born in the role of Jim Thomasen on All My Children in 1997, a role he played until 1998.
