		David's story begins with Dave and Rosemarie, a couple, who unable to have children themselves, took the decision to adopt a baby they could raise as their own.
		David came into their lives in 1983 and showed himself to be a loving, laughing, bouncy boy.
		Eventually, David was offered brain surgery to try and remove the part of his brain that was responsible for his fits, Dave and Rosemarie considered long and hard before they gave their consent to this operation and were pleased when it did seem to help.

		David was privileged to receive his first few years of Flamenco Guitar instruction from one of the few known prodigies of Agustín Castellón Campos, more famously known as, "Sabicas" and subsequently from Agustin Ríos, the gifted nephew of the late Diego de Gastor.

		David Jenkins was born ca 1765/74 (per census analysis), presumably in Onslow County, North Carolina.
		David Jenkins would have been about 16 to 25 years old by the time of the 1790 census, so he could be enumerated in the "under 16" age group (born 1774/90) or in the 16+ age group (born before 1774).
		This probably isn't a child of David Jenkins, for she was not with him in 1810, but was with him in 1820 (age 10-15, born ca 1804/10).

		David Edward Jenkins (born January 26, 1925) is best known as the Bishop of Durham, a post he held from 1984 until 1994.
		Born in Bromley, Kent, Jenkins had been a lecturer in theology at the University of Oxford, Chaplain and Fellow of the Queen's College, Oxford and had worked for the World Council of Churches and the William Temple Foundation before his controversial appointment.
		In his role as Bishop, Jenkins was famed for his willingness to speak his mind and was regarded by many as a 'breath of fresh air' among fellow men of the cloth.
