		David Michelinie and Bob Layton's first run on Iron Man is one of the main reasons I'm a comic reader.
		Michelinie was ahead of his time with some of his classic runs esp. Iron Man. I never particulary cared for Iron Man and Tony Stark.
		Michelinie started his Avengers run so his work was a major influence on what I feel a super-hero comic should be.

		DAVID MICHELINIE: Well, you pretty much hit the nail on the head when you used the word, “entertain.” I’m not a terribly deep thinker, and I’ve never really had any interest in revealing Great Truths or imparting my hard-earned but spotty wisdom to others.
		MICHELINIE: Writing comics was very difficult for me to learn, and I didn’t start feeling comfortable with it until I’d been making a living at it for a couple of years.
		MICHELINIE: As I remember it, Mark Gruenwald was looking for new personnel to take over Iron Man, and he called Bob and I individually to see if either of us would be interested.

	Superman vs. Predator (David Michelinie)
		David Michelinie spent a big portion of his comics-writing career as a regular sribe on Superman for most of the nineties, so his familiarity with that stable of characters is expected.
		This was written a few years after Michelinie left the regular Super-books, so the story was really a homecoming for him, and it reads as such.
		Michelinie does use the plot device of Superman being weakened by an alien bug.
