Nedohin made two precision tap backs to help Canada count five twice against Scotland, first to take control of the game in the third, and then to put the Scots on ice in the seventh.
Nedohin could have played a draw for two in that end that would have put Canada up 8-3, but instead he went for the kill, and got it.
Ferbey, Nedohin and teammates Scott Pfeifer and Marcel Rocque were one rock away from missing out on a six-way tie for first place on Thursday, only to be revived when Australia missed an open takeout with its last rock.

David Nedohin - Nedohin is an extremely talented third.
Plus, when he had a chance to get a really hard three ender, and he decided to just go for an easy single, and the crowd booed him, he just put down his broom and told the crowd that if they wanted to see it they could do it themselves.

We got past Northern Ontario dynamo Jacobi with an 11-10 victory but lost a heartbreaker today vs Randy Ferbey and David Nedohin of Alberta 10-6.
Nedohin is the vice, so how come he throws last rocks.
Ferbey is better at the third anyway since he can throw that heavy weight shot, Nedohin is more of a draw/light weight kind of guy.

Joining Smith is David Hay (third), Graham Cormack (second), and Ewan Macdonald (lead), a former Scottish and European champion.
Smith curled second for Scotland's David Smith at the 1991 Winnipeg Worlds and won the gold medal.
