Michael and David have both studied with Frank Dawson from Roosevelt University in Chicago and oddly enough both play over the neck and have been doing so long before they met, it's no wonder their styles are so similar!
Michael was in the band Holland and David was in various club bands at that time.
Other notable guitarists that made the top 10 were John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Buckethead, (the late, great) Shawn Lane and Yngwie Malmsteen.
