		David Swann is a medical doctor and Alberta Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly.
		Swann is the co-founder of the Calgary-based group CANESI (Canadian Network to End Sanctions on Iraq) which later became CANDIL (Canada Democracy and International Law).
		Swann was elected to the Alberta Legislature, as a Liberal in the Alberta general election on November 22, 2004.
