Elder David B. Haight and his longtime wife, Ruby, enjoy each other's company at their home on Elder Haight's 97th birthday, Sept. 2, 2003.
After visiting the home he was born in, Elder Haight spoke to an overflow crowd of Latter-day Saints at a local stake center, then headed to the town park for a picnic, where he was honored as the town's oldest veteran of World War II.

David Bruce Haight was born on Sept. 2, 1906, in Oakley, Idaho, a son of Hector C. and Clara Tuttle Haight.
Elder David B. Haight, the oldest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away Saturday at 4:15 a.m., surrounded by family members at his home in Salt Lake City.
Elder Haight's health had been fragile over the last few years of his life, sometimes preventing him from addressing LDS members during the church's general conference.

Vassajara's Vada, four-year-old Oberhasli doe, breed and owned by David Moore, California, GCH, linear appraised 91 EEEE, and was #6 ADGA Top Ten milk production with 3,100 lbs., #7 butterfat 121 lbs./3.9%, #5 protein 91/2.5%.

 Kamehameha movie: King Kalakaua Says his family
He never said the Philipines, nor Tahiti, he wrote it in his only book written in 1888 and published by Tuttle Co. Inc in 1974 by His Majesty King David Kalakaua.
The Hawaii King said his Kamehameha ancestors came from Upolu, Samoa so let that be done for it was proclaimed by a Kamehameha King himself.
