	Preface to LETTERS TO RELATIVES (1930 Edition) (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-17)
		The letters in this collection are addressed mainly to Lenin’s mother, Maria Alexandrovna Ulyanova, and to me[1] and cover the period from 1894 to 1917,[2] i.e., they begin from the first years of Lenin’s revolutionary activities and continue up to his return to Russia after the February Revolution.
		In a letter to his mother from St. Petersburg he wrote that he was satisfied with his new room, which was “not far from the centre (only some 15 minutes’ walk from the library)”.
		The next letter has not survived either, but from what I remember of it it showed what a heavy loss it was to him, how much pain it caused him, and how tender he was to all of us, who were also distressed by our loss.

		Excerpts from an early letter written by Daniel Kintzi to relatives who chooses to remain in Galicia express the gist of sentiments largely experienced in numerous situations.
		A number of second and third generation Galician descendants were also in the U.S. military during the 5th, 6th, 7th decades of the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts, and more recent actions in rather isolated geographic trouble spots.
		The differing factor and perhaps small advantage in their situation was that Galician descendants from earlier migrations were on hand upon arrival to aid these families as best they could.

	Mendinho - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Mendinho was a medieval Galician troubadour from the 13th century.
		There is little known about him, he probably lived in Redondela, Vigo Bay, San Simión island.
		Día das Letras Galegas (Galician Letters Day) was dedicated to him, together with Martín Codax and Xohán de Cangas in 1998.
