An Iron Man film was scheduled to be released in 2007 (though originally November 2005, but reverted to 2006 then to 2007 due to several undisclosed reasons), with Nick Cassavetes directing.
After the final issue, #99 (March 1968), after which the book became Captain America, Iron Man appeared in the one-shot Iron Man and Sub-Mariner #1 (April 1968), before debuting in his own title with (The Invincible) Iron Man #1 (May 1968).
This incident was just the part of a series of events that culminated in the deaths of three Avengers, the destruction of Avengers Mansion and the disbanding of the Avengers themselves.

 CBC News:Ontario delays closing worst coal plant
The province's coal-fired plants cause up to 668 premature deaths, 928 hospital admissions and 1,100 emergency room visits each year, an analysis released in April said.
Duncan said the province's three other remaining coal-fired plants – the Lambton plant south of Sarnia, Atikokan in northwestern Ontario and a plant in Thunder Bay – would close on schedule in 2007.
The giant Nanticoke plant on Lake Erie produces 4,000 megawatts of electricity and was to have been closed in 2007.
