 Hurricane Erin (1995) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Erin caused 6 drowning deaths across the Gulf of Mexico and caused $700 million (1995 US dollars) in damages, mostly caused by winds along the coastline of the gulf
At midnight on the July 30, Hurricane Hunter aircraft showed that the storm had acquired all tropical characteristics and thus the storm was named Tropical Storm Erin.
It was used during the 2001 season and will be used again during the 2007 season.
