Deb Stover is a native of Wichita, Kansas, but now lives near Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband, their three children, and a mutant dachshund.
Deb S: Since the painting she discovered in her time hasn't been painted yet, and she believes it's her portal back to her time, she's convinced she must pose for the portrait.
Deb S: Cole made a death bed promise to his wife, that he would take their son to a better place--or back to their home in St. Louis--where the boy could have a proper upbringing and education.

 Historical Romance Writers: Book Review
Deb Stover has gifted readers with a fabulous story full of sexual tension, passion, and poignancy.
Her secondary characters are as real and fully developed as the main characters and it is wonderful to see several additional romances emerge.
At a time when many have heard cries that the western historical romance is dead, Deb Stover has given us a story that certainly proves this is not the case.

 Mulligan Magic
In typical Stoveresque fashion, she mixes a blend of the old with the new and throws in a good dose of the paranormal along with it.
One of the things I always enjoy about Deb Stover’s books is the importance of her settings, which are as endearing as her characters.
Stover very successfully makes you believe that love is forever—no matter what your age.

Author Deb Stover is a good friend of The Romance Reader.
Deb: Actually, this corresponds to one of the pet peeves I mentioned in my original text, so fit this in wherever you think best.
Historicals that read as if the TT was thrown in strictly for marketing purposes, often have the time traveler accepting their unwilling adventure far too easily.

Stover is clever and delivers an original if somewhat contorted plot designed to fascinate her fans, and, for the most part, she succeeds.
Although the time-travel gambit shows a lack of imagination, Stover makes up for it with thoughtful, quick-witted dialogue between the strong-willed Paul and an equally bull-headed rival for Winnie's affection?his great-great-grandfather, Sam.
She is going to decorate a clients houseboat and she was told that the client would not be there so she could work the whole weekend.

THE ROMANCE READER reviews: Another Dawn by Deb Stover
This time travel starts with an unusual twist when the hero is juiced in an electric chair just as a bomb goes off.
Deb Stover's talent as a time travel "technician" is indisputable: she carefully crafts the space and time twists and turns that can make or break a time travel plot.
But like I said, author Stover bookends this story with exceedingly inventive time travel ploys.
