		April Fool's Day is a teen slasher film from 1986 that tries hard to be of the same calibre as your Nightmare On Elm Street or Halloween films but doesn't quite get there.
		The basic plot of the film is very simple in that Muffy St. John (Deborah Foreman) invites her friends to her family's island (yes, the family is stinkin' rich) for a decadent holiday of teenage partying, inevitable intimate relations and above all else, good old fashioned relaxtion.
		The main problem with the film is that it never quite decides whether it is supposed to be a full-on horror film or a comedy and so, spends a lot of time flicking between both scenarios which is sometimes difficult.
