Debralee Scott (April 2, 1953 – April 5, 2005) was an American actress best known for her role on the soap opera spoof Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman as the title character's trampy younger and prettier sister, "Cathy Shumway".
Scott was raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she was born, and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, where she was a cheerleader.
In 2000, Debralee appeared on a panel with her former cast members of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman at the Museum of Television and Radio in Beverly Hills.

At age 22 Scott landed her most well-known role, playing of Cathy Shumway, the younger sister of series star Louise Lasser on the syndicated soap opera parody "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" (1976-1978), a role she carried over into the spin-off series "Forever Fernwood" (syndicated, 1977-1978).
Scott would later have a role in first and third instalments of the "Police Academy" movies in the early 1980s and would appear in her final feature, the drama "Misplaced" in 1989.

On Debralee's first appearance, it was different than many of her other appearances.
First of all, she looked much younger, and second, her nameplate said "DEBRA" instead of the usual "DEBRALEE."
You might also remember that when Jon ("Bowzer") Bauman from "Sha Na Na" (and later "The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour") first had his name as "Jon", but later, Gene told the producers to get him a "Bowzer" nameplate for the rest of the week's appearances that he made back in 1978.
