		But although this was far from her real debut as a singer and musician, having released her very first solo album at the age of 11, she set the title to Debut to signify a start of something brand new.
		The matter of a proposed forthcoming album of remixes of Debut is causing some friction between the singer and her record company.

		Quite frankly, I think I would have paid the cost of the album just to have a copy of this recording, but there are 10 other entirely new songs there too filled with billy notes.
		He is accomplished in playing guitar and piano, and with the release of his album, he is a pretty good song writer too.
		Only time will tell, but I hope to see his debut album rise to platinum sales in the next month or so, because believe me, the quality is that good.

	They Might Be Giants (Debut Album) - This Might Be A Wiki
		Funny and fresh, ebullient and eccentric, bubbly and bursting with ideas (though perhaps too restless to dwell on them for very long), Flansy's personality is all over this disc.
		The bespectacled, guitar-playing half of They Might Be Giants sounds (and looks!) like a cross between Elvis Costello and Marshall Crenshaw, but his contributions to this 1986 debut are stylistically all-over-the-map, and he reveals himself to be a surprisingly versatile vocalist.
		Plus, I'm pleased to report that the filler quotient is rather low on this 19-track album; "Boat of Car" (featuring Margaret Seiler on lead vocals and, inexplicably, a sample of Johnny Cash's "Daddy Sang Bass"), Flansburgh's "Toddler Hiway," and Linnell's "32 Footsteps" are amusing at first but don't hold up to repeated listens.
