  Decade
The Sahotas were back in the recording studios writing the new tracks for their forthcoming album "Decade" which was to mark ten years in the history of the band.
The Sahotas were on the look out for a new record label to release "Decade", after going through four different record companies, they decided to go with one of the upcoming labels "Kamlee Records" who were showing a keen interest in their artists.
The lyrics for this album were carefully chosen from four different writers to suit the style of music that had been written.

 Neil Young Album Reviews
Neil Young's first solo album after the breakup of Buffalo Springfield is a tentative affair on which the vocals are mixed too far back (due to Neil's lack of confidence in himself as a singer) and the production is too soft (due to the prominence of Jack Nitzsche's string arrangements).
So does this album as a whole, as for all its flaws, both from a songwriting and a performance standpoint, this is an unflinchingly honest and fascinatingly from-the-gut depiction of where Neil Young was at that particular time.
Amazingly, this album wasn’t released on cd until 2004 (whatever his reasons, be they dismay at the cd medium or whatever, Neil should do right by his fans and make all of his albums readily available), which is a damn shame considering that it's undoubtedly one of his best albums.

 Decade Overview 1990s
Below is a brief appraisal of the band's album releases during the 1990's, which is followed by a UK singles discography for the decade.
The 'Innuendo' album released in 1991 had a prevailing sombre ambience, and each song possessed a meditative, melancholic air, particularly the final track 'The Show Must Go On', and its prophetic significance was to be cruelly realised before the year was out.
As the name suggests, the album is a collection of their more up tempo numbers, and is an indispensable introduction to some of Queen's album material for those people only familiar with the band's single releases.

:: MVRemix: Album Reviews - Sticky Fingaz - Decade ::
Many times, the album is a result from a new self-produced sound, a move to a different indie label, or a move to another part of the country.
Overall, "Decade" is somewhat of a disappointment but has some important qualities that should not be overlooked.
Still, "Decade" is overall a decent album because Sticky Fingaz has an incredible energy, an awesome voice, a wild range, interesting themes, sharp lyrics, an intense delivery and flow and a charismatic personality.

Singer Allison Flynn, who was too young to play The Decade, is recording her debut album for Decade Records.

 REO Speedwagon album reviews
This album is clearly one of REO's masterpieces, and the first album with Kevin Cronin on the microphone.
This album was overcome by the confusion, inconsistency, and lack of focus that plagued Wheels Are Turnin'.
This album marked REO's first studio release in six years (just ask us REO fans how long we waited for this album!) The band spent much time in the studio perfecting their sound, but the album just couldn't live up to the expectations of many fans.

Fingaz opens the album with a tribute to the man who discovered him, Jam Master Jay of RUN-D.M.C., who was brutally murdered at a Queens, NY studio late last year.
The album went on to be a platinum-certified smash, due to the runaway success of the hit single Slam, which went on to become one of the year's biggest rap hits.
With appearances from ONYX groupmate, Fredro Starr and actor Omar Epps, the album grasps the same kind of brutal honesty and street credibility Sticky is famous for.

Itai Y., Framingham, MA M—tley Cr¸e never sounded better than on their latest album, "Decade of Decadence." The album is a collection of songs, set in chronological order, from their five albums.
Two songs are withdrawn from each album, along with one from a soundtrack, another from a separate collection, and three brand new ones.
The songs "Teaser," which the Cr¸e donated to the '89 album "Stairway to Heaven, Highway to Hell," and "Rock and Roll Junkie" off the "Ford Fairlane" soundtrack are new to the general public and are pure fun.

The album has many other great songs on it too, like "Money Changes Everything", "She Bop", "Time after Time" and Prince's "When You Were Mine".

In a sense, this album is everything that “OK Computer” was not - a total embrace of the electronic blips, bleeps and rythmns that serve as the background noise to unexpected nighttime encounters in Washington DC or musings on the JFK assasination.
I have a compeltely wild and totally unproven theory that the album’s melodies also subtly tap into the psychosis of a generation who had the melody from the “Legend of Zelda” theme permanently seered into its subconcious.
This album is so good I had to convince myself not to formulate an argument why it might be better than “Achtung Baby” which is my favorite U2 album.

This album is perfect for easy listening, driving, or those moments when you are seeking inspiration.
Richard's Rainy Decade Album is a musical heaven for those like me who are nuts about vintage Gretsch and Strat sounds, played with well balanced dose of Bigsby, tremolo and character.
So for most of you who are not necessarily obsessed with all this guitar talk, this album will offer memorable music, and will be just as suitable for serious listening as for providing the perfect background to an afternoon tea or to a summer drive in your Chevy.

 MUSICMATCH Guide: Duran Duran
The greatest-hits album Decade was released late in 1989, followed several months later by Liberty, the first Duran Duran album to fail to go gold.
The group followed the album with one of their poorest-received efforts, 1995's all-covers Thank You, that managed to go gold in America despite its negative reviews.
While Duran Duran was recording the follow-up to Thank You in 1996, John Taylor left the band to pursue a solo career, leaving the group a trio of LeBon, Rhodes, and Cuccurullo.
