		The 13th was halted on the high ground facing Hlangwani, while Thorneycroft's Mounted Infantry and the South African Light Horse with the Composite Regiment went on dismounted to attack the hill.
		The strength of the 13th in camp was now 23 officers, 1 warrant officer, 440 non-commissioned officers and men, and 385 horses,—the total strength being 1 warrant officer, 562 non-commissioned officers and men, and 475 horses.
		This consisted of the Royal Dragoons, the 13th and the 14th Hussars, 2 naval guns, the York and Lancaster Regiment, and the I.L.I. Occupied in patrolling and outpost duties mainly, the 13th remained at Springfield until February 21.

		Anyway, my eldest son was born on Friday the 13th, so it's apparently not too terrible, unless you consider that the boy is practically my clone, in which case all bets are off.
		They don't seem to happen very often, but statistically it seems like the 13th would be just as frequent as any other day of the week.
		Afaik, jragon, Friday the 13th is an unusual date because due to the structure of our calendar, it only occurrs once a year, whereas the other 13s occur twice.

		We had noticed that the heating in the room was turned off and, despite an assurance from downstairs that it had just been switched on, it never warmed up.
		I look forward to seeing you all this Wednesday 13th January when we have two members making their debut performances at the club and you can see our new carpet, the new dance floor in it's altered location and therefore our new seating position.

		I was driving home from work last Saturday night December 13, 2003 from Calgary, Alberta.
		I'm at the first Airdrie exit, I saw this bright tunnel of light come down from somewhere in the sky, it lit up all of Airdrie and then it went back up again.
