		Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell says he and his supporters are on schedule in their effort to repeal the one cent per dollar sales tax hike enacted by the General Assembly in House Bill 95 this past June.
		Blackwell said this week that he expects the necessary signatures in the "initiated statute procedure" to be filed by the legal deadline of December 26, 2003, which is ten days before the first Monday in January.
		If voters approve the repeal in November, the sales tax increase will expire on December 2, 2004, which is 30 days after the election, not June 30, 2005, as envisioned by the General Assembly in House Bill 95 when it enacted the increase as a temporary measure.

		I came to a point where I didn't want to pretend what I was taught still made sense, so I drifted away from organized religion.
		I grew up as a Catholic and went to a Catholic school but I asked a lot of questions and I couldn't get any answers that made any sense to me. I thought there was something wrong with me. I was treated like something was wrong with me for asking questions.
		I am a Bible believing-God fearing Christian, and am a member of a Reformed church that is loosely affiliated with the PCA (Presbyterian Church of America).
