Now, Decipher has announced their product line-up for the remainder of the year, as well as a look into next year's schedule.
In March 2000, Decipher will release the Third Anthology - a sort of "best of" boxed set which features packs of the original Premiere, Jabba's Palace, and Special Edition sets, as well as six new fl-bordered premium cards not available anywhere else.
In November, Decipher will release Skywalkers, a set that focuses on Luke, Leia, Vader and their relationships both as characters and cards.

After months of asking for Decipher to keep us informed, they listened and created a great idea on how to tell us interesting things while raising our interest with "gossip" (as Carol Wisely calls it).
This is a more intimate way of PR than say a regular web article explaining the newest upcoming releases or why Decipher handles errata they way it does.
Decipher has also done a good job of using RFD to inform both CCG players equally.

www.MtgNews.com - Decipher Acquires License for LotR Trilogy
This far-reaching deal gives Decipher the opportunity to explore in depth the entire universe of The Lord of the Rings for an initial period of six years, with a renewal right for an additional five years.
While details of the games were not announced, it's safe to say that Decipher intends to use the film (and photo-realistic images generated in house on their state-of-the-art Silicon Graphics systems) to illustrate both the physical trading card game and its digital counterpart.
Where Star Wars failed was that Decipher playtesting would periodically miss a few cards which were far more powerful than they had any right to be.

Scientists decipher genome of bacterium that helps clean up major groundwater pollutants
Rockville, MD — Scientists have deciphered the genome sequence of a microbe that can be used to clean up pollution by chlorinated solvents — a major category of groundwater contaminants that are often left as byproducts of dry cleaning or industrial production.
The study of the DNA sequence of Dehalococcoides ethenogenes, which appears in the January 7 issue of Science, found evidence that the soil bacterium may have developed the metabolic capability to consume chlorinated solvents fairly recently — possibly by acquiring genes in an adaptation related to the increasing prevalence of the pollutants.
There are several reasons why deciphering a microbe's DNA sequence can help scientists find better ways to use it.

In the greatest tradition of Jules Verne and with the breathtaking depth and pace of Michael Crichton, Stel Pavlou's Decipher is a roller-coaster ride through an epic of an adventure.
Just a small team of scientific specialists (is'nt it always the case ?) are rapidly assembled to 'decipher' and then use all of these signs, located across a globally-distributed network of ancient sites, passed down through thousands of generations in order to save the future Earth from the precalculated catastrophy.
Unfortunately, Decipher gets far too schmaltzy and over-fantastical in the last few chapters, with the characters becoming parodies of themselves to some extent as Pavlou overcompensates for a rushed and somewhat contrived ending, based in a 'reactivated' Atlantis deep beneath Antartica.
