AUGUST PAUL, JR., a substantial farmer and public-spirited citizen of Deer Creek township, who owns and cultivates a farm of 120 acres in section 27, is a native of Germany, and was born July 24, 1887, a son of August and Wilhelmina Paul, natives of the Fatherland.
CHARLES CHRISTOPHERSEN, a well-known resident of Seymour township, Outagamie county, who in addition to carrying on farming operations on section 29 is discharging the duties connected with the position of sexton of the Seymour City Cemetery, was born in Shawnee county, Wisconsin, August 3, 1870, and is a son of Christ and Sarah (Helgesen) Christophersen.
Catherine (Seil) Reis was born in Sheboygan county, Wisconsin, March 26, 1860, daughter of Nick and Susan (Smith) Seil, the former a native of Belgium and the latter of Alsace Loraine.

Wisconsin consistently ranks among the top two or three states in the nation for deer, muskrat, and raccoon; in the top five states in the country in the harvest of fl bear, wild turkey, ruffed grouse, woodcock, and wood duck; and in the top ten states for Canada geese and total ducks.
Deer Donation 2005 closes with more than 324,000 pounds of venison donated— Wisconsin hunters donated nearly 7,207 white-tailed deer to the Wisconsin Deer Donation 2005 program, which ended Jan. 3, providing more than 324,000 pounds of ground venison for needy families across the state.
While the group’s membership includes anglers in central and southern Wisconsin and Illinois, it focuses its activities on the driftless area and in fact, was instrumental in persuading the national and regional TU groups to undertake a regional trout habitat restoration project for the driftless areas of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.

Alco RS-27 #318 heads a trio of locomotives at the head of this train, in a scene that was repeated countless number of times in small towns along the railroad throughout the 1970s.
Taylor was one of several towns along the railroad which were named for officials of the Green Bay and Lake Pepin RR, the predecessor of the GBandW.
In this case, it was named after Moses Taylor, one of the largests investor in the original GBandLP.

The Chippewa County ATV Trail is normally open to ATV riding from May 1st to November 15th of each year, except in case of emergency, when the County may close and gate the trail.
