Delta Flyer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the fictional universe of Star Trek, the Delta Flyer is a scout-class spaceship attached to USS Voyager.
The Delta Flyer was originally the brainchild of Lieutenant Tom Paris in the episode "Extreme Risk" (though in the previous episode, "Drone", Seven of Nine suggested to Tom that he should build a new shuttlecraft after hearing him complain about the deficiencies of Class 2 shuttles).
Captain Janeway, Lieutenant Commander Tuvok, and Lieutenant Torres used the Delta Flyer to infiltrate a Borg Tactical Cube, where it was later destroyed by a barrage of Borg torpedoes immediately after the away team beamed aboard the cube.

Delta and the other unnamed co-conspirators have used their jointly owned and controlled entities, including co-defendant Milepoint, as devices to collectively exchange information and fix and/or attempt to fix the prices at which frequent flyer miles, including Delta SkyMiles, are purchased and sold in the market.
Delta's policy of onerous restrictions on the redemption of SkyMiles is a breach of Delta's implied duty of good faith and fair dealing with regard to its contractual relationship with Plaintiffs.
Delta's misrepresentations were known to be false at the time made, and were made with the purpose, intent and effect of threatening and intimidating Plaintiffs and other participants in the SkyMiles program into believing that their legal rights with respect to the SkyMiles program are de minimis.

The Delta Flyer is a unique vessel that was developed by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 after they were stranded in the Delta Quadrant.
The initial idea for the Delta Flyer came from Voyager's helmsman Tom Paris, who repeatedly championed the idea of building a specialized shuttlecraft (in his words, a "hot rod") that was more suited to the crew's needs than normal shuttles.
The Delta Flyer is equipped with warp and impulse engines, a tractor beam emitter, and a narrow beam transporter; it uses a tuned, circumferential warp reaction chamber and extendable warp nacelles.

However, the Flyer underwent its share of mishaps, in 2375 the vessel crash-landed on a hostile planet after encountering a severe ion storm, and in 2376 the Flyer was briefly inside a subspace ellipse.

The frequent flyer account which is accumulated in the name of any airline passenger is part and parcel of the services which the passenger buys when he or she buys an airline ticket.
A frequent flyer account is analogous to that of a "depositor in a mutual savings association" which is expressly excluded from the scope of "financial interests" unless the value of the interest could be substantially affected by the outcome of the case.
A frequent flyer account is merely a prepaid credit entitling the holder to free air transportation at some future time; it carries no management or proprietary rights, and thus, as in Christiansen, is an interest more contingent and remote than the specifically excluded interests in § 455(d)(4)(iii).
