		Delta, which General Motors holds a 49% share in, is the Southern African manufacturer and distributor of Opel and Isuzu, and the distributor of Suzuki.
		Delta PandA implemented the SAP R/3 business system in 1999 to improve the accuracy and response time to customer orders, and streamline its operations by eliminating picking errors.
		Delta choose RangeGate as its supplier for this system because of its direct presence in Port Elizabeth and the ability of its solution to integrate directly into SAP R/3 using InterSys Enterprise Application Integration software suite.

	History of the Delta Launch Vehicle: Background and Development
		The roots of Delta began in a 1954 USAF Request for Proposals for an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile capable of carrying a thermonuclear bomb 1,500 miles — the distance from England to Moscow.
		The original Delta could place a 100 pound payload in geostationary transfer orbit, though it was used for lower orbits only, and was initially regarded as an interim vehicle until more powerful rockets could be developed.
		The latest modification to the Delta II is a 10-foot-diameter composite fairing which offers several improvements over the aluminum skin-and-stringer construction of the old 10-foot diameter fairing that was used to protect such observation satellites as POLAR and WIND.

		The metalworkers' union Numsa has accused the Delta Motor Corporation and other companies of trying to stifle workers' political rights by forbidding election meetings on company premises during working hours.
		Delta says the meeting on its premises was held without permission, and has threatened to sue Numsa, the National Union of Metalworkers of SA, for lost production should there be a repetition.

		I now feel that the car is dangerous to drive with as it could cause an accident as well as break down in a dangerous area where my life could be in danger.
		Delta then decided to replace the car with a secondhand car with rust and more kilometers than my car, which I declined.

		JOHANNESBURG, Reuters reported that General Motors is to buy the remaining 51 percent of South Africa's Delta Motor Corporation, subject to government approval, the two parties said on Wednesday.
		Delta was formed in 1986 through a management buyout when the U.S. automotive giant left South Africa in protest against the then apartheid regime.
		If the deal is approved by the company's Competition Commission, GM will join European and Japanese rivals such as BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Volkswagen and Toyota Motor Corp who have consolidated their positions in South Africa through either wholly owned subsidiaries or majority shareholdings in local units.

		DELTA Motor Corporation is looking at turning waste by-products from its car coating units into wall slabs and floor paving.
		Recycling "paint sludge", which comes from the process of coating motor vehicles, was forced on the company by the closure of the Aloes hazardous landfill site near Port Elizabeth, where the group has two vehicle assembly plants.
		The closure of the landfill meant that Delta had to truck the 20000l of paint sludge it produced a month to a waste processing site in Cape Town.

		Riding atop a three-stage Boeing Delta 2 rocket, the craft was delivered into a temporary elliptical orbit stretching from 100 miles above Earth at the closest spot to nearly 11,000 miles at apogee.
		The Delta 2 rocket blasts away from pad 17B on Saturday.
		In the coming days, the craft will use its kick motor to circularize the orbit at 11,000 miles and join the GPS constellation where it will replace the ailing GPS 2A-19 satellite.

		The car was inspected afterwards by an independent motor mechanic who said the boots were fitted to stretched and as a result have stress sheared where stretched when the wheel is turned!
