Demetrios III - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It is possible that Demetrius III was a relative of Lysias.
The deity of Demetrius III is however Zeus, unlike Lysias who associates himself with Heracles.
Thus Demetrius III - if he existed - might have belonged to the house of these western kings, even though he ruled parts of the "eastern" kingdom.

Demetrios, who was not tall, lifted the gaoler as high as possible, lest the beating of armoured feet upon the slabs disturb any of the other keepers, and Demetrios strangled his dupe painstakingly.
Demetrios thought these criteria comely, he had discovered them to be unshakable, and he despairingly knew that as long as he trusted in the judgment heaven gave him they must always appear to him supremely idiotic.

Tourism in Vladimir Region, Russia - Vladimir, the Saint Demetrios Cathedral   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-05)
It is highly probable that the religious chronicler neglected to record the construction of Vsevolod III's royal Cathedral precisely because the secular element appeared so strongly in its ornamentation and the exuberant sculpture distinguished the building so sharply from the severe Episcopal Cathedral of the Assumption.
In the east zakomara of the north wall, which faced the town, the sculptors have immortalised Vsevolod III himself, seated on his throne with his new-born son Dimitri on his knee and surrounded by his many other sons who are bowing to their lord and father "Big the Nest".
The Cathedral's ornament was an amplification and reinforcement of the theme of Vsevolod III's power and the might of the Vladimir lands, already expressed in the architecture of the building.

SFUHS: UHS Alumni Film Screening: Eames Demetrios
Though Eames Demetrios had grown up in a world of design, it was not until 1988 when he made his film 901: after 45 years of working (about the closing of the Eames workshop in Venice, CA) that he began to explore design with a more professional eye.
In 1993, Eames Demetrios began leading the Eames Office full time and become extremely interested in issues of design education and design authenticity.
Today Demetrios is still director of the Eames Office, but has recently evolved his relationship with the office to permit more time to consult with design institutions (whether families, museums, or companies) to protect the authenticity of designs, the designer's intentions and the consumer's experience.
