Still, I didn’t expect much from Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, even though it was penned by R.A. Salvatore and developed by the team behind The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
As it is, Demon Stone is an impressive hack-n-slash game with high production values and fresh gameplay mechanics, with just a few elements holding it back from greatness.
Demon Stone tells the age-old tale of three heroes, a warrior, sorcerer and elf, joined together by chance, or so it seems in the beginning.

Demon Stone's story is based entirely on the object from the game's title.
This crystal was used in a ritual in order to trap two of the most powerful entities in the world, the idea being to leave them trapped together for eternity, stuck fighting their private war until the end of time.

Demon Stone just happens to be in a more frantic, third-person mode, yet the same immersion is multiplied ten or twenty fold.
Some aspects of Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone please me, like the fantastic mage, nice upgrade system and the great voiceovers but there are a few flaws too, such as the lack of multiplayer and the other two less interesting characters.
Demon Stone may entertain in its straightforward nature as a button basher with cinematic pretensions and presentation, yet it’s also let down by a camera that often obscures the action and by the repetitiveness.
