The State in the Post-National Constellation - Societal Denationaliztion and Multi-Level Governance
In a denationalizing world with an increase in cross-border activities and the emergence of new social spaces, the convergence of the dimensions of statehood in one political organization dissolves and a new architecture of statehood arises.
Consequently, denationalization is an indication of the weakening link between territorial states and their corresponding national societies, that is, the contextual condition that made the national constellation possible.
Reduced wars among denationalized countries, the improvement of human rights records in the OECD world and the rise of the strongest international institutions in the field of economic legal certainty can be interpreted as illustrative evidence in support of this hypothesis.

The incredible media propaganda against the full implementation of the Denationalization Act is supported by disinformation, lies and fabrications of all kinds which are being relentlessly spread among the citizens of Slovenia by the obdurate opponents of denationalization.
This shows that the opponents of denationalization are disingenous in their apparent efforts seeking admission of Slovenia to the European Union while in reality they are doing everything to disqualify it and prevent its integration in the European community.

LONDON, England -- Britain's rail operator took track repairs out of the hands of private firms on Friday (Oct. 24) in a move seen as a partial denationalization of an industry hit by safety concerns after six fatal crashes in as many years, according to this Reuters report.
In what it called the "most fundamental restructuring" of Britain's railways since before privatization in the mid-1990s, Network Rail said taking the work in-house would lead to high standards of work, significant savings and improved safety.
While Network Rail denied the decision was a move back towards denationalization of the not-for-profit rail operator, others had a quite different opinion.

Joanne Mariner: Patriot Act II's Attack on Citizenship
By permitting denationalization as a punishment for illegal conduct, the Patriot II bill attempts to push the legal rules backward to a time that Ashcroft and his ilk no doubt remember fondly: the McCarthy era.
In the wake of Afroyim, Congress passed a number of amendments to the denationalization statute, including in 1976, 1978, and 1986, that codified Chief Justice Warren's view by tighting the legal rules on the loss of citizenship.
The prospect of a court simply inferring intent from disfavored conduct seems especially likely when considered in light of the judiciary's inconsistent record of protecting rights from government encroachment in the "war on terrorism." To date, most courts have shown a marked reluctance to question the government's factual assessments relating to terrorism.
