Dennis Erickson (born March 24, 1947, in Everett, Washington) is the head football coach of the Arizona State University Sun Devils of the Pac-10 Conference.
Erickson was raised in Everett, twenty five miles north of Seattle.
Erickson's head coaching career began in December 1981, at age 34, when he was hired at the University of Idaho.

If I am not mistaken Erickson's buyout with San Fran was several million dollars so he can easily afford to take a year or two off and wait for the right college job to come along, or maybe he goes the TV route as well.
