 Denver Zephyrs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Denver Zephyrs were a continuation of the old Denver Bears AAA minor league baseball franchise.
The played their home games at Mile High Stadium, which, after additions made to accommodate the Denver Broncos football team was the largest venue ever to be the home venue of a minor league team.
Denver's former AAA franchise now competes in the Pacific Coast League as the New Orleans Zephyrs.

Bears third baseman Tim Wallach hit.281-36-124, led the American Association in total bases (295) and was second to Bass in homers, RBI and slugging percentage (.576).
