Considering the number of people continuously on the move, UNICEF identified thirty-nine locations in five districts of Bihar and Jharkhand which were the main routes and gateways for the pilgrims.
UNICEF has also organized two special immunization drives for the resident under-five children of Deoghar to protect them from the virus that may be carried by the pilgrims.
