The Department of Education and the Department of Defense will work with States on strategies to prevent disruption in the educational progress of children of military families and to ease the stresses on military families.
The Department of Education’s budget includes $10 million to support grants to States to encourage reciprocity agreements, develop data management systems, and support other activities to facilitate the transfer of children of military families between schools.
