 | | Building on the infamous sounds, ground breaking collaborations and visual spectacle of Carnival Collective, this year the group has received Arts Council England funding to bring their club set onto the street by developing and touring a new vehicle based street performance during the summer of 2004. |
 | | Depth Charge marks a further development in Carnival Collective's sound, style and look as they continue to draw inspiration from contemporary British music, combining Brazilian percussion with Ska, Jungle, Scratch and Roots & Dub Reggae. |
 | | The new work brings the massed drummers of Carnival Collective, its bass player, 6 piece brass section, dancers and visual team together with three new collaborators: keyboard wizard Rikesh Macwana of Bad Manners brings his superlative Hammond skills to the mix and is joined by two exciting turntablists, G-Petz and IYE-95 of Identity Crisis. |
