The University campus extends over an area of parkland roughly one and a quarter kilometres long and three quarters of a kilometre wide, situated about four kilometres to the west of the city centre.

The EMMAN node at Lincoln University is not reachable.
Lincoln University report that the problems with the network there are the = result of a break-in in their machine room and the theft of interface = cards from their communications kit.

Power Installations (contarctors for the University) will be carrying out the installation of a changover switch at Carlton Studio's main data wiring centre on Tuesday 22nd March.
There will be an upgrade taking place on the EMMAN node at the University of Derby during the scheduled maintenance period on Tuesday 12th July, 2005.
