		It's a shame that Derek And The Dominos was such a short-lived band, because their one album showed that when united, these musicans had some serious potential.
		The vinyl 'In Concert' albums predated the 'Live At The Fillmore' CD's by two decades, so a lot of baby boomers have a penchant for the former discs, even though both owe their origins to recordings made over two evenings at The Fillmore East in October of 1970.

		The only thing that I thought could have been better about the show was Mike's vocal..it just seemed low in the mix but maybe It was just were I was standing...What a show though!!...good job on the tape Mark...I'm glad you were there to tape this wonderful night of music.
		Chevrolet starts a little muddy on the vocals (but Derek is up and out the gate) but the mix gets much better afterwards.

		Clapton's feelings about re-cycling these songs with Derek and the Dominoes, not to mention the long guitar solos, may have been ambiguous but the performances certainly sound wholeheartedly committed.
		If you like the Layla album you won't automatically like this album - there's no Duane Allman; there's only one, frequently 'wah-wah', guitar and some of the songs, Rain sticks in my mind for this, are stretched to an incredible extent by the solos.

		I'm surely in the minority but my answer is early '70, from the Dominoes up to 1974/75 tours.
		The feeling I get is that this is someone who really loves the Blues. Also Derek and the Dominoes, Beano and half of the Ocean Blvd. tunes.
		Guys, I really appreciate your views but to me the best Clapton's solos are on this old LP: Derek and the Dominos in concert, recorded at the Fillmore east in 1970.
