 HOMEBREW Digest #1356 Wed 23 February 1994
Hello fellow brewers, I'm pretty new to the world of brewing, only a handful of batches under my belt, but I was wondering about the affect that molasses would have (say 1-2cups) when introduced at the same time the malt extract is added to the wort (soon to be).
I've personally been brewing off and on as a hobby since it's been legal and have acquired a fair understanding of the brewing process.
My impression is that the level of technical knowledge assumed by even beginning brewing books creates a formidable barrier to beginning brewing for quite a large fraction of the population.
